Excellent Nick Faldo-designed championship course
Open since the beginning of 2023, the Nick Faldo-designed Royal Long An Golf & Villas is an excellent 18-hole championship course sprawled across 124 hectares of stunning natural landscapes typical of the river delta region. Nine additional holes and a luxurious resort are planned, but for now the course is still well worth the trip.
The course is in great shape, with Bermuda Celebration fairways and UltraDwarf Bermuda greens providing an impeccable playing surface. The fairways are reasonably generous, but bunkers await off line, and water makes more of an appearance as the round goes on, notably on both sides of the excellent, doglegging par-5 18th.
Away from the course, the clubhouse features all the modern amenities you’d expect from a venue of this caliber, including luxury locker rooms, a restaurant, pro shop, and practice range.
