A popular 36-hole layout set amidst mature woodlands and lakes
Located just 17 km from downtown Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Golf & Country Club is a 36-hole complex comprising two championship golf courses spread over 300 hectares of mature woodland. Both courses feature bermuda fairways and TifEagle greens, providing an excellent playing surface, but you'll need to be on your game to score well, with extensive bunkering, numerous water hazards and very fast split-level greens adding up to a challenge fit for the professionals.
The West Course, which opened in 1995 and twice played host to the prestigious Vietnam Open, is the tougher of the two course, with its narrow tree-lined fairways and daunting length putting a premium on length and accuracy off the tee, and with lone trees sitting in the middle of several fairways, careful course management is required to ensure you don't find your route to the green blocked off.
The East Course, designed by Lee Trevino and opened in 1997, is shorter and features more generous fairways than the West Course, but the inclusion of 110 well-positioned bunkers, numerous water hazards, and challenging greens means that it's no walk in the park. However, the holes in general play pretty straight, and together with the breadth of the fairways it means you can go for it off the tee.
The clubhouse is spacious and well-maintained, with large locker and changing rooms that include Japanese showers and dry and wet saunas, as well as a well-stocked pro shop and a large restaurant serving variety of international cuisines, with views overlooking the West Course.

Most courses in the area fairly flat so no surprises, excellent condition, organised and some pretty tricky holes.My caddy was good and knowledgeable.Way too crowded which ended up in too much waiting time.

Was my forst time playing golf in Vietnam, was a great day and a great experience. Some things were lacking slightly but overall very good. The shop had sold out of balls marked with the course details and the bar didn't serve gin and tonic.... a western staple after a game of golf! Overall no real copmplaints!Course Info
